Dr. Kent Spann
Senior Pastor

A native of Memphis Tennessee, Dr. Spann graduated from the
University of Tennessee with a business degree. Upon graduation, he attended
Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, where he received a Master of
Divinity degree. In 1998, he received a Doctor of Ministry degree in Expository
Preaching from Gordon-Conwell Seminary.
With his wife, Cindy, they are blessed with three children.

David N. Thomas
Pastor of Worship & Outreach
|
A Grove City native, David graduated from The Ohio State University in 1983 with
a Bachelor in Music Education and completed his Master of Divinity Degree from
Southern Seminary in 1991. Married to his wife, Ellie, they are proud parents
of three children.
David has been on staff at Highland Baptist Church since 1990.

Paul Pyle
Pastor of Student Ministries
|
Paul Pyle comes to us all the way from Houston, Texas. Paul
was a former collegiate basketball player at and received his undergraduate
degree in business administration from Centenary College of Louisiana in May,
1992. Paul also attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated
with a Masters of Art Degree in Christian Education 1995.
Paul met Rachel in Tucson, Arizona, and married her in 1996.

Janice
Cahill
Director of Children's Ministry
|
A transplant from Missouri, Janice received a Bachelor of Arts degree
with majors in Religious Studies and Psychology from Southwest Baptist
University, Bolivar, MO, in 1985.
Married since 1984, Janice and her husband Steve are parents of a grown
daughter and a teenage son.
Janice's prayer for the children at Highland is that they will realize
just how much God loves them and learn to love Him in return.
